The Editor-in-chief and publisher of the Writers' Machine is educator Dale Butler J.P., Cert Ed. B.Ed. (Hons M.Ed., M.Sc.) He founded the Writers' Machine as hobby in 1976. Twenty titles have been published of which 15 are currently in print. Most book runs range from 500-1,000 copies. Mr. Butler is a founding member of the Bermuda Poetry Association.
